BRECOprotect timing belts are specially designed to meet the strict requirements associated with contact with food and the cleaning processes required in these areas.

The fact that these timing belts do not have a groove prevents hidden and difficult-to-remove contamination, thus simplifying the cleaning process. The blue color of the BRECOprotect product range follows a general market trend toward a color scheme specific to the food industry. Furthermore, BRECOprotect timing belts are suitable for use in humid environments, where there are serious limitations for the use of conventional timing belts due to the occurrence of hydrolysis.

 BRECOprotect timing belts are offered by the meter and in a welded, endless format. Thanks to the protection of the traction element, additional mechanical work on the polyurethane belt body is unlikely. Belt designs with welded profiles are possible in principle. However, the available profile sizes and load capacities are limited, TPUAU1 is a mandatory material, and blue is again recommended.
