SIT-LOCK® keyless clamping bushings: Available configurations
Section
CAL1 Non-self-entering

CAL2 Non-self-centering

These clamping bushings consist of an inner and an outer tapered ring. They are designed to work in conjunction with a clamping flange, which can be bolted to the hub or shaft depending on the application. The number of clamping bolts depends on the torque to be transmitted. SIT-LOCK® 2 requires very small axial installation dimensions. Up to four units can be mounted in series to handle high torques.
CAL3 Self-centering

Clamping bushing with a unique cone design. It consists of two conical rings and a spacer. It features minimal overall dimensions due to the reduced cone thickness. SIT-LOCK® 3 is suitable for applications with thin-walled hubs. It is recommended for medium-to-high torques and is self-centering.
During the installation of the hub, there is no axial displacement of the hubs on the shaft.
CAL4 Self-centering

Suitable for high torque and is self-centering. Recommended for applications requiring high transmission values and excellent centering capabilities, such as belt drums.
CAL5A Self-entrance

Clamping bushing with a unique cone design. Suitable for high torques. Provides good self-centering. Minor axial movement of the hub may occur during installation. Not recommended for applications requiring precise axial positioning with this type of bushing.
CAL5B Self-centering

Clamping bushing with a unique cone design. Suitable for high torque applications. Provides good concentricity and self-centering. Recommended for medium torque applications and is self-centering. The flanged design prevents axial movement during installation.
CAL6 Self-centering

Clamping bushing with a unique cone design. Provides good concentricity and self-centering. Minor axial movement of the hub may occur during installation. Not recommended for applications requiring precise axial positioning with this type of bushing. The SITLOCK® 6 bushing is recommended for medium torque transmission applications.
CAL7 Self-centering

Clamping bushing with a unique cone design. Provides good concentricity and self-centering. Recommended for medium torque applications. The flange design prevents axial movement during installation. Suitable for medium torque applications requiring very precise axial positioning.
CAL8 Self-centering

Clamping bushing with a unique cone design. The flanged design prevents axial movement during installation. The SIT-LOCK® 8 has a very small overall length, is self-centering, and is designed to accommodate various shaft diameters while maintaining the same outside dimensions. The SIT-LOCK® 8 is recommended for medium-torque applications requiring precise axial positioning. The limited number of bolts makes installation quick and easy.
CAL9 Self-centering

It consists of two conical rings and a locking nut. Its simple design allows for quick assembly and disassembly. SIT-LOCK® 9 is suitable for applications with medium and low torque.
CAL10 External fastening

SIT-LOCK® 10 are clamping bushings with a double-cone design. They offer easy angular synchronization and axial adjustment of shaft ends. They transmit high torque and provide a cost-effective solution for rigid shaft-to-shaft connections.
CAL12 Self-centering

SIT-LOCK® 12 is a clamping bushing. Suitable for large quantities in medium torque applications.
CAL13 Self-centering
The SIT-LOCK® 13 hub is similar to the standard SIT-LOCK® 9 type but with a longer length. It consists of two tapered rings and a locking nut.CAL11 External tightening

Clamping bushings designed for joining hollow shafts. By locking the bolts, radial pressures act on the shaft, allowing for an effective and solid connection. Recommended for medium and high torques. SIT-LOCK® 11 is also manufactured in "SPLIT" and "HALF" versions for special applications.
CAL14 External tightening

The 14 series clamping bushing consists of a single tapered ring, unlike the 11 series which has three pieces. These bushings offer superior concentricity and self-centering, as well as a higher degree of dynamic balance. Suitable for medium-to-high speed applications. They are manufactured in five different variants.
CAL15 Self-centering

Suitable for servomotors and small-diameter pulleys. It generates an axial force capacity similar to the strength of screws, and the axial movement it generates in the assembly can be used for axial locking of bearings.
SIT Monolock

It consists of a single cylindrical ring with a conical hole. A special screw with a conical surface is inserted into the conical hole.
The screw is grade 12.9 to allow the tightening torques indicated in the tables.
