9 Couplings 9 TRASCO® couplings
Description
TheTRASCO® couplingis flexible, constant velocity, and ensures best-in-class performance in relation to the physical space occupied.
Very compact design, ensures power transmission and absorption of load peaks and torsional vibrations.
Elastic polyurethane star design that compensates for angular and radial misalignments and absorbs small variations in shaft length.
Features
  • Absorbs torsional vibrations
  • Compensates for axial, radial, and angular misalignments
  • Available in cast iron, aluminum, steel, and for SER-SIT® tapered shaft mounting
  • Available upon request
  • Couplings certified in accordance with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU

Available TRASCO® configurations

GR Base program

Trasco GR joint

TRASCO® couplings are manufactured dimensionally with hub types "A" and "B," the difference being the maximum shaft diameter they can accept (corresponding to the first and second code numbers, respectively). The long hub "L" design (allowing complete coverage of the motor shaft) is available in "A" and "B" designs.

GRB Execution for SER-SIT® tapered bushing

Trasco GRB joint

TRASCO® GRB couplingsfor SER-SIT® tapered bushings are manufactured from GG25 cast iron.

They combine the high performance typical of standard TRASCO® couplings with the advantages of easy assembly and disassembly using the SER-SIT® tapered bushing.

These cubes are manufactured in two different assembly versions:

B1: Installation of tapered hub from the outside
B2: Installation of tapered hub from the inside (not available for size 90/100)

The GRB design eliminates the problem of corrosion, making it suitable for all types of machinery.

B1 type cubes allow axial displacement for star replacement.

GR CAL Execution with SIT-LOCK® CAL 8 clamping bushings

Trasco GRCAL joint

This design has been introduced to incorporate the advantages offered bySIT-LOCK® CAL 8 clamping hubsin the shaft-hub connection. The system allows for quick, secure, play-free assembly without the use of a keyway, eliminating the need for lock washers, spacers, and retaining rings.

We can design multiple solutions to meet all types of application needs.

GRL double cardan drive with extended shaft

Trasco SRLCAL3 Seat Joint
TheGRL CAL3series allows two shafts (even two spaced shafts) to be joined using two TRASCO® couplings and a custom-sized intermediate shaft (length "LR2") mounted to the hubs using clamping bushings. The presence of two polyurethane stars allows for high damping capacity and greater radial misalignments. By default, the hubs are made of cast iron, while the shafts are made of steel, but different materials can be used depending on the application.

GRF flange execution

Trasco GRF Joint
The GRF series with flanges has been developed for heavy machinery applications and to combine different shaft and flange solutions.

GRFC compact flange design

Trasco GRFC joint
The GRFC series has the same features as the GRF series but is more compact.

GRS double cardan shaft drive

Trasco GRS Joint

The GRS series allows for greater compensation of axial, radial, and angular misalignment. In addition, the use of a double star allows the torsion angle to be doubled and provides a very high damping effect.

The GRS series allows for compensation of high axial, radial, and angular misalignment. In addition, the use of the double spider allows for twice the torsional angle and provides a high level of damping.

GRFRT execution for brake drums

Trasco GRFRT Joint

The GR FRT series has been developed to fit drum brake transmission (FRT).

An elastic coupling is considered to consist of:

Standard hub (any of the TRASCO family)
Elastic star
Special hub connected to the brake drum

In addition, it is possible to assemble different brake drums sized for any type of coupling.

GRFRD implementation for disc brakes

Trasco GRFRD joint

The GR FRD series has been developed to fit disc brake transmissions (FRD).

It is an elastic coupling consisting of:

Standard hub (any of the TRASCO family)
Elastic star
Special hub connected to the brake disc

In addition, it is possible to mount different sized brake discs for any type of coupling.
