Description

TRASCO® ES is our coupling designed to compensate for misalignment and dampen vibrations in indexing applications. The compact design of TRASCO® ES makes it the right choice for all precision motion applications. High shock and vibration absorption through an elastomeric ring of varying hardnesses.

GESP execution with solid bucket or GESF with finished drill and captive bolt

Giunti Sit Trasco ES GESP series

SIT couplings are available both as solid hubs or machined for standard shaft diameters.

The prisoners are mechanized at 120 degrees to each other with one positioned at 180 degrees from the keyway. Both the solid hub and finished shaft types are generally available from stock with fast delivery. Approved according to CE ATEX standard.

GESM execution with fixing bucket

Giunti Sit Trasco ES GESM series

This type of coupling allows for quick assembly without any shaft-hub play. Keyless coupling; the tightening torque (Ms) indicated in the table must be strictly observed. Type M is available with or without a keyway. Complies with EC ATEX standard.

GESMC compact design with mounting hub

Compact version of the GESM series with reduced overall length. Guarantees the same performance as the standard version with reduced dimensions.
The mounting hub allows quick and secure connection of the shaft-hub with zero backlash. Approved according to EC ATEX standard.

GESA execution with retaining ring

This type of coupling provides excellent homokinetic uniformity. In addition, the absence of keys or fastening screws ensures a well-balanced coupling and greatly facilitates installation and removal. It facilitates accurate radial/axial positioning for applications that require it. The absence of a key also prevents corrosion and eliminates backlash between the shaft and hub. This is the ideal type of coupling for applications requiring precision and/or high rotational speeds. Approved according to EC ATEX standard.

GESAP execution with retaining ring in accordance with DIN 69002

Giunti Sit Trasco ES GESAP series

Zero-backlash precision coupling designed for multi-spindle devices in machine tools or low-mass machines, such as short center spindles, multi-head spindles, primary spindles in machining centers, or spindles connected to high-speed bearings with reduced tolerance class. It is suitable for very high rotational speeds (up to peripheral speeds of 50 m/s).

This design allows for greater misalignment. The two polyurethane stars provide high vibration damping, which reduces drive noise and extends the service life of related components (e.g., bearings). The intermediate element is made of aluminum alloy and can be used in combination with any type of hub design.

GES LR1 version with extended intermediate shaft

Giunti Sit Trasco ES GESLR1 series

This zero-backlash design allows for long-distance connections in applications such as lifting spindles, gantry robots, etc. The intermediate shaft is manufactured in steel as standard, but can be made from various materials (aluminum, carbon, etc.) for specific requirements.

The presence of two stars increases shock absorption capabilities and allows for high misalignments.

GES LR3 version with extended intermediate shaft

Giunti Sit Trasco ES GESLR3 series

Ideal solution for long-distance shaft connections. Zero-backlash torque transmission. Used in applications such as automatic machines, lifts, palletizers, and manipulators.

Designed for lengths up to 4 m without bearing support (depending on rotation speed). The double groove design allows the belt to be installed and replaced without moving the driven machine/drive. Made entirely of aluminum alloy for very low inertia.
