Description
METALDRIVE® disc couplings are manufactured from steel and are used in all applications where high reliability and precision are required with minimal maintenance. All components of METALDRIVE® couplings are fully machined (excluding the spacer) and balanced according to DIN ISO 1940-1 Q 6, 3.
Functions
- Free and torsionally rigid backlash
- Maintenance, lubrication and wear-free
- Operating temperature up to 300°C
- Allows for axial, angular, and radial misalignment (only with a dual-disc pack)
- Available in accordance with API 610 and API 671
- Available with carbon axle
- Available on request for couplings certified in accordance with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU

S Standard version with single disc pack
DC Standard version with dual disc pack and standard length spacer
It allows for angular and axial radial misalignment.
SA1 execution with extended tubular shaft
The shaft is available in various lengths, and can be supplied in welded aluminum or steel.
Available with carbon axle.
SA2 execution with extended solid shaft
Different variable shaft lengths available
DCA execution with double disc pack
Double disc pack for damage prevention. Standard spacer lengths for pump applications. This version is available according to API 610 and API 671.
